There is momentum, but there is a long way to go for the government to live up to what it has said it would do. This is an issue that affects us all. So spread the word, share the report and graphics, and sign the petition!
What do we mean by:
Consensus Building: Has the government taken steps to build a common understanding and increase awareness—both at national and European Union level—of the factors that lead to high-priced medicines, as well as steps that can be taken to tackle the issue?
Transparency: How open has the government been about its policy commitments when it comes to pharmaceuticals?
Implementation: To what extent has the government managed to turn words into action to live up to its commitments on new, affordable medicines in the Netherlands? How effective have they ultimately been in doing so?
